Eaton’s ePDU G4 technology, featured in all of their server rack mounted power distribution units (PDUs), provides best-in-class power distribution with a full line of PDUs including Managed PDUs, Metered Outlet PDUs, Metered Input PDUs, Basic PDUs and Universal Input PDUs (UPDU). Each of these rack PDU types offers a variety of capabilities to fulfill the needs of your IT environment. Platforms

Basic PDU

Providing reliable and cost effective power distribution, the Basic PDU offers IEC outlet grips, tool-less installation in server racks, color-coded outlet sections and a high operating temperature.

Metered Input PDU

With all the features of the Basic PDU, the Metered Input PDU provides the ability to reduce infrastructure costs by daisy-chaining up to eight PDUs under a single IP address. The Metered Input PDU simplifies load balancing and helps prevent overloads.

Metered Outlet PDU

Allows you to measure power consumption at the outlet level, gain Level 3 power usage effectiveness (PUE), and to perform accurate department and customer billing.

Managed PDU

Also known as switched PDUs, Eaton’s Managed PDUs offer the same power quality measurement and monitoring capabilities as the Metered Outlet PDU with additional controls built in. Gain control at the outlet level with remote on/off switching and group reboot for A and B feeds.

Universal Input Rack PDU (UPDU)

With its universal input, dynamic C39 outlets and global approval, Eaton’s universal input rack PDU (UPDU) is a single solution equipped to meet the most diverse data center rack power needs.
